Bit of a light round for you today, folks. While a few people gathered a modest amount of points, this is a fairly low-scoring week, so be warned. Of course, this is to be expected in the opening rounds of the league, as each team fluctuates up and down the table, not yet finding their rightful place in the running. It does mean that there aren’t any clear winners or losers yet, making the league still anyone’s game. Can Vinnieh keep his lead? Will Cinema Parrot Disco tear ahead once again? Or should we be scared of the bottom of the table where the non-scorers are looking ahead, aware their actors are simply waiting for the right list of movies to come along? We could all be walking into some horrific trap prepared by Fairytale Pictures?

As for my blog in general, while nothing drastic is happening, I do want to try tidying it up a little in terms of content. I have just moved house, out of the quiet town of Buckfastleigh and have set up sticks in Torquay. While this article has been a little late due to the moving house process, I should now be settled and will get articles out at a regular pace. Most importantly, I have now access to a cinema in walking distance, so I am fighting to bring back weekly reviews of films that are currently in the cinema. It has been one side of the blog which I have been very unhappy with this last year and means that I can take part in round-up debates at the end of the year (best deaths of 2017, anyone?). This might take a few weeks to get right, but I shall review Logan this Friday (please see yesterday’s review about how not to do a Wolverine film), and work on bringing you current content as frequently as possible.

Round Analysis

As warned, there isn’t too much ground-breaking runs in the second round of 2017’S Fantasy Acting League. Despite a large number of movies to shift through, few actors were actually used. J.K Simmons and John Goodman naturally cropped up, seeing as they are statistically in every movie ever filmed, but otherwise, it was slim pickings today. Still, it was an important round for some. What About the Twinkie used Keanu Reeves’ John Wick Chapter 2 to propel himself into the running and the low end of the table is start to shift to life. The most successful scorers were the ones who could grab a few points here and a few points in the last round. Cinema Parrot Disco has always been the most consistent scorer out of us sorry lot, making sure that while she rarely has any whooping great, big scores, there is always something being added to her pot, bound to sneak up on anyone foolish enough to get out in front of her. And Vinnieh is still comfortably in the lead, already threatening with the distance he has gained on his competitors. However, this early on in the game, there isn’t really a lot to worry or brag abou…

How I feel right now!

How I feel right now!

Wait? I’m second?! FUCK YES! Who’s the goddamn king of WordPress, bitches?! I am going to crush all of you this year! None of you little motherf****ing walruses stand a chance in hell. When I am finished with you, there will be nothing left but dust. Vinnieh, I am coming for you! The rest of you… just give up! It will be easier on you! This year is my year! Mwahahahaha!

  1. “J.K Simmons and John Goodman naturally cropped up, seeing as they are statistically in every movie ever filmed” – This made me laugh way more than it should, but it’s so darn true!!

  2. A cinema within walking distance?? Oh, I’d love that! But I’d get nothing done… Now, can I be annoying & say that that awesome m*^herf*^ker Sam Jackson is credited as being in XXX: Return of Xander Cage? Not that I’d watch shit like that just to verify but I’ll happily take the added points… 😜 lol. I’m hoping Skull Island doesn’t get one star. I have three actors in that! That would mess me up big time. 😳
